A Life Search



It's four o'clock in the morning

As I lay here on the floor

There's emptiness in my heart

As I watch the fire glow

There's pain deep in my heart

As memories run through my mind

I wonder weather to forget you friend

And the heartache far behind

I look back through my mind

And all the good times gone before

But all I see is loneliness

As the tears fall to the floor

I wonder where I am heading

And what heartache I will find

But there's one thing I know for sure

Is loneliness is my friend



There's emptiness in my heart

And hollowness deep inside

For there is no one on this earth who can even compared

So once again I travel on

In search of that special friend

That someone with the heart of gold

That someone upon I can depend

Weather I'll find them I will never know

But I must keep on hoping

That this true friend will one day show

For without this kindred spirit in my life

My world will surely end



So I must keep on searching everywhere

For my friend with heart of gold

A spirit on which I can depend

I'll always help the less fortunate

As onwards I will go

And hope that my reward in life

Is my very special friend

Heartache and pain is all I've known

And I'm sure there's more to come

But all I ever wanted out of this world

Is a friend so true and strong



This world is not meant for my heart

For what I sense and feel is what keeps me strong

Hoping for my special friend

To help me carry on

My only consolation is that it's you

That I have finally found

So please be my special friend

No matter what you do

Never forget that a part of me

Will always be thinking of you

And if you are in any trouble

Or you need a helping hand

I'll pray to my father of this you can depend

And always try to remember

I am your one true friend...

KEEP ON SMILING



It’s hard to laugh when things go wrong,

It’s easy to lose heart.

But if you can keep on smiling,

It’s certainly a start,

Happiness seems far away

When days are long and sad,

But just as good times fade away,

So do all the bad,

Trouble always fades away

If you can grin and bear it,

But call me if it gets too much

And I’ll be there to share it.

Relationships will come and go

And loved ones will depart

People walk in and out of your life,

Friends leave

Footprints in your heart.

When it hurts to look back

And you're scared to look ahead,

You can look beside you

And your best friend will be there.
