~Chakra Balancing Meditation~

~This Meditation can be done anytime to bring the Chakras back into balance with each other. It is best done sitting in a straight backed chair, with feet firmly on the ground, about a foot apart. It is best to be bare footed also. Sit with both hands on your legs, palms upwards. You can hold in each hand a clear quartz crystal if you like. Have in the room some candles lit for light, and if you like some music that is relaxing.

~ Breath in deeply, through your nose, filling your lungs with air. Be aware of yourself, in this moment. Breath out slowly from your mouth, feel yourself relax. As you breath in, visualise white light flowing into your body from the Universe, feel it fill you up. As you breath out, feel all your worries leaving you, relax.

Repeat this three times, with three long deep breaths. Relax. In your mind, count slowly from 10 back down to 1, relaxing more with each number. Do not worry if you do not get all the way through, the idea is to relax and let go.

When you are fully relaxed, visualise about half a metre above your head a ball of bright white Light. Around the edge of this brilliant ball, there is a slight golden glow. Visualise the Light from this ball flow foward, down, into the top of your head. Feel and see it flow through your body, down, down into your feet, and out into the Earth.

See it go deep into the Earth, grounding you and bringing you into balance with Spirit and the physical. When the flow of Light hits the center of the Earth, you may feel the sensation one does when a lift stops, like a sudden short drop. Feel the Light then become entwined with a deep dark red Earth energy beam. See this deep Earth energy flow around and up the core of white Light. See it as something similar to the unbilical cord.

Feel the Earth energy come into your body through your feet, up to the base of your spine, where it meets the Base Chakra, a ball of bright red Light. At this point the bright red ball explodes with red Light, moving out in level with your Base Chakra. Feel yourself ground and become stable. Feel yourself as a physical Being, here now on the Earth. Feel your Love for Nature. Embrace this feeling in yourself. Allow the beam of Light now to move up to the Sacral Chakra, where it hits and explodes a ball of bright orange energy. Again feel this energy move outwards level with your Sacral Chakra.

Feel yourself as your sex, male or female, and feel within your sacred core that makes you your sex, for men it is your sperm, for women your eggs and womb. Feel the sacredness of the union of male and female, and its importance for us as a race. Know that this brings to you the power to move on from all things, as this energy may always bring new beginnings through reproduction. Know nothing can hold you back. Feel this within yourself, and embrace this feeling. Feel the beam now move on to your Solar Plexus Chakra, where it meets with a bright yellow ball. Feel and see the yellow ball explode and move outwards in level with the Chakra. Feel within yourself your sense of self, know that you are you.

Know that you are strong and full of direction. Know this within yourself, and embrace it. Allow the energy to now move on to the Heart Chakra, where a deep green ball of Light explodes ourwards, filling you with Love. You feel Love within yourself, for yourself and all around you. You feel this Love disolve any anger fear or hate you may have been feeling before. You feel Love for All That Is, and know yourself as a Perfect Being of Light, a channel for the connection between Heaven and Earth.

You feel complete and whole within yourself and within Spirit. Embrace this feeling in yourself, and know that it is you. Move the flow of energy now to your throat, where you come to the Throat Chakra, nd a ball of bright blue Light. The ball of blue Light explodes, sending out a layer of blue Light level with your throat. You feel like singing and expressing yourself through sound, you feel confident and able to say what you are feeling and thinking, without fear of denial from others. You feel within the presence of your inner voice, always there for advice and guidence. You smile, and embrace this feeling within, knowing it is yours.

Now the Light moves up to your forehead, where it hits a ball of deep indigo Light, the Third Eye. You feel this ball explode, and in your mind you feel like you have awoken, like your eyes that were before closed are now open. You see deep within yourself, all that was hidden before is now seen. (if at this point you feel a pin in this area, this happens often untill you are practiced at using your Third Eye. relax, and feel white Light around this area untill the pain subsides a little, then go on) The Light then moves throught the center of your head, up into the Crown Chakra, where a brilliant violet Light glows. As the Light hits this ball, you feel yourself lifted up into the embrace of Spirit, and you understand yourself within All That Is. You feel yourself being cleansed and made whole by the touch of Spirit. Embrace this feeling and know it is yours. The Light then moves up slightly from the Crown Chakra, and starts to fall downwards, around your body, spinning as it goes, creating an egg like shape around the outside of your body. You see the colours of the Chakras within this egg shape, the egg itself is Golden White Light. You feel whole and complete, balanced and Perfect. Embrace this feeling, and know it is yours. Breath deeply, in through your nose, and out through your mouth, relax. allow yourself to sit within this energy for as long as you feel you need to, use your intuition here as a guide, your new found inner voice. When you are ready to return, simply relax. Breath in several times through your nose and out your mouth. feel yourself within your physical body once more, fully balanced and complete. Embrace yourself, and know that the feeling you now hold is yours~ You Are Complete Within Spirit ALWAYS~

Raja Yoga Meditation



I'd like for you to remove whatever you have on your lap and get into a seated posture in which you could remain comfortable for a few minutes, feet flat upon the floor, spine straightened as if there were a slender cord which you could gently tug upward above your head without changing your experience of relaxation. Tuck your chin slightly and you will naturally achieve this state.


We may now picture ourselves seated upon a beautiful velvet throne that lies within our hearts, making ourselves comfortable, burrowing in, and yet straightening our spine, as if a golden thread were placed within the spinal column and then gently tugged upon, so that our chin seems gently tucked a bit toward the throat.

Breathing gently in and out, in and out, notice the familiarity of your breath. Remember that God is as close and familiar as your breath. As the breath comes in, notice its movement, notice how it feels, as it moves in, and how it moves out of the body. Notice the calm places between the breaths, the places where there is a still point between the in-breath and the out-breath, and once again, between the out-breath and the in-breath. These are the known in Hinduism as the "Gateways to God." Silently, gently, say to yourself "Ham" on the in breath and "Sa" on the out breath. As you chant Ham on the in breath and Sa on the out breath, continue to allow yourself to notice the still point between the breaths. Gently allow yourself to notice the calm that this brief focus on your breath brings, then gently chant quietly within or out loud:

"Om Namah Shivaya" from the Sanskrit, which means "I honor the inner Self." If you are more comfortable you may chant: "I honor God within me." Gently repeat this silently inside yourself for about two minutes or as long as 15. Then proceed to the following

Visualization of Sending out of Blessings:

Picture your Self seated as you are with a beautiful golden light emanating from your heart. Picture this light radiating out forward from your heart in the shape of a cone into the room where you sit. This radiant light says with deepest feeling "I love you. Be at peace. Know that you are God." You may now beam this light now beyond this room into the surrounding neighborhood in front of you.

Now imagine this cone of golden light expanding into another golden cone of light emanating from your heart and through your left shoulder, extending its light over the land and into the nearby towns and beyond saying to all "I love you. Be at Peace. Know that you are God." And when that is accomplished, imagine another golden cone of light emanating from your heart and through your right shoulder that moves out into the state and then the nation saying to all without exception "Be at Peace. Know that thou art God. I love you." And as that beautiful warm golden light satisfies its mission, notice another golden cone of light forming from the back of your heart and emanating behind you, radiating out your words "I love you. Be at peace and know that you are God." And while you are so doing, radiating out now in many directions, and on everything this light shines without exception, notice another beam of light radiating now from the bottom of your heart extending deep into the earth saying "Be at Peace and know that you are God. I love you." Now notice these beams of light dividing and multiplying until your heart is an infinitely radiant source of light extending these words out into the Universe beyond anything that you can imagine, beyond political divisions and scientific discovery, including all that is known and all that remains unknown, extending these words into the heart of all creation "Be at Peace. I Love you. Know that thou art God."

And when you feel complete in the sending out of blessings, gently draw the cones of golden light back within your heart for safekeeping, drawing your attention back into the room until you can feel comfortable in opening your eyes.*


* I recommend that you read this meditation comfortably on to a tape. Then you can play and engage in this practice daily until you follow your inner voice directing you without the tape. Until then, allow your own voice, on the tape, to direct you in this powerful guided meditation. Don't worry about the effort it takes to create a tape that works well for you. By doing this you are setting a powerful mental equivalent for listening as well to yourself as you do to respected teachers in this overall process. Speak peacefully and gently to yourself and you will naturally begin to develop a high level of trust for the wisdom already within you.

This meditation is one I have found useful in discovering my totem beast.It is not necessary to follow it strictly.It is a guideline and you can adjust certain components to suit, however you must keep the spirit of the meditation-i.e. the intention.
Relax and take regular deep breaths until you are ready and that no "butterfly" thoughts impose on you.Imagine that you are climbing down a great tree, which grows not only up above the earth but also down into it.You are climbing down under the earth. It will seem to go on forever, but you reach the bottom eventually, and there under the earth, you will see a clearing in a forest.This is the Otherworld.At the foot of the tree you will see a figure (Cernunoss)with antlers -seated.He will be strong ,dark and powerful, but not unfriendly.He is called the wild herdsman, and is the Celtic guardian of all beasts.
When he sees you ,he will bang the trunk of the tree with a huge club, and a beast will come out of the trees towards you. It can be anything from a mouse to a golden eagle or a domestic cat, a fish even.Whatever it is greet it with FRIENDSHIPand wecome it into you .It will merge with your body.When it has done so you can climb up the tree back to yourself.The timing of this will vary from person to person.When you have reached yourself get up and DANCE your animal,and give it a voice, where appropiate, as loud and as long as you like. Or you can be silent-your choice. The important thing is to let the totem beast express itself through you-if it's a cat, act and sound like a cat for a while .
Repeat as often as you feel to establish a rapport with your beast.Dance it as often as you can. At random moments in the day, everyday, try to "see" with your beast's eyes and feel with it's senses, which will enhance your own.
You will soon learn a great deal from your inner companion.Follow it's lead and be aware of it's intelligence, and you will be astonished at what it can teach you. Often , answers to questions will come in the form of a riddle rather than direct answers. These generally yield up thier meaning witha little medidation or intuition.They are part of the way in which your totem beast can help you;help in self healing, and a general guide through the rougher waters of life.You may have more than one totem animalas time goes on , or several at one time, or perhaps just the one that remains with you over a longer period.
It is possible to encounter your totem beast as an animal you fear and hate.I suggest you face the beast and come to terms with it to help you to cope with some problem that is deep within you. Not every beast may seem friendly or likeable, and you will need to learn to accept this in your own way; you will derive great benefit from learning more about yourself, and your inner abilities, fears and doubts.
If you are concerned that the beast may be unsuitable, ask it questions. It may be that you are not ready to accept the gifts it has to offer. You should always follow your heart and trust your instincts. If you feel uncertain, ask it to show you a vision that means a great deal to you.Once back in everyday conciousness, check the vision against your own understanding and see what it tells you. Remember, you can always journey again and see if another more suitable beast comes forward-that may be the one for you.

I come to you this evening with a meditation to share with you, her loving family.

So l hope you with enjoy this as much as lady did because l know it was met for her and lady enjoyed it so much.
So l just want you all now to make yourselves comfortable and l will guide you through it step by step ok.


Now l want you all to clear your minds of all your thoughts and worries of the days events.

As you do this just feel your rhythm of your heartbeat breathing slowly steadily in and out do this 4times and tell me when your done.

Ok now image a place like a meadow, island a mountain stream etc. this is your own spot where its just you no one can know where you are just you and your special place.

You are either sitting in this place or you are standing whatever feel comfortable for you this is you own time and space now.

Now just above you in the sky you see a rainbow it has many beautiful colours in it,

Like Red, Yellow, White, Green.

You focus on it and feel the rainbow coming closer to you as you focus just on the rainbow.

As the rainbow gets closer and closer you grab the rainbow with both of your hands.

l want you now to image this lovely rainbow and lwant you to image you are wrapping around your entire body from your head to your toes like either a warm blanket or cloak which ever you choose, it doesn’t matter.

Now you are a lovely rainbow now not a person and it feels warm and comfortable, and it feels so nice been in this place also.

Just rest in this for as long as you can and as long as you can bear it and know that you are safe and very loved.

I will pause for few moments so you can enjoy your loving moment ok.

Paused for 10mins………….

Now its time to take this feeling back into this room now and bring back the refreshing feeling of been in your own special place and say that l love been in your own world which feels safe and know this where you can come back at anytime when you feel you need too.

You can bring this blanket or cloak back with you or you can take off and place it in a spot where you can find it again next you want to here in your own place ok your choose.

Now slowly l will count back from 10 and just press k when you are back ok.

To see opening your heart to feel your body to calm and peace and love and

relaxing

Keep the feeling and return from your journey to the room
